Today is the 3rd or 4th day of repeated high humidity. The spring was wetter than its been in about 80 years as I'm told and that has been evident by the lack of honey in the supers this year. Queens moved right into the supers thus extending the time by another month out to wait for all brood to emerge. It is hoped this will resolve before mid September as that would be harvest time honey or no honey. The bees need to fill their brood chambers with the required ingredients by Haloween - bees, pollen, propolis and honey. I have been remiss in watchkeeping as my bones and livelyhood have dictated so. Good day to all.
